Mokadelic, a group formed by Alberto Broccatelli, Cristian Marras, Maurizio Mazzenga, Alessio Mecozzi, and Luca Novelli, has been active in composing soundtracks for film, television, and theater for over fifteen years. They are regarded as some of the most innovative contemporary composers, thanks to soundtracks including "Gomorra - The Series”, "Django - The Series”, “Come Dio Comanda”, “Romulus”, and "On My Skin”, collaborating alongside internationally acclaimed directors (Stefano Sollima, Gabriele Salvatores). The band has also composed music for brands such as Gucci, Bottega Veneta and Volkswagen, and has had various experiences in soundscaping on both a national and international level (Expo 2017 Astana).
In 2023, "who to love" was released, an experimental project presented at the Rome Film Festival, involving Dave Stewart of Eurythmics, Mokadelic, the actress and singer Greta Scarano and the director Giorgio Testi (The time experience project).
In 2024 they signed the OST for Citadel: Diana.
Their music ranges from neo-psychedelic atmospheres to melancholic and ethereal ambient/electronic suggestions, and extends to dense soundscapes, creating true symphonies.
