Nashville-based multi-instrumentalist Molly Jewell’s unique cocktail of lovelorn Americana, confessional country, and baroque folk has earned comparisons to Angel Olsen, Fiona Apple and Regina Spektor. But her warm, analog sound -- which she calls “kitchen sink music” for its varied influences -- could easily fit on playlists alongside many of today’s beloved female pop-troubadours, including Lana Del Rey, Laura Marling and Phoebe Bridgers.

Alongside engineer/producer Goffrey Moore, the cathartic new EP "Inside of Me" showcases the singer at her most raw and vulnerable, and marked her first ever tracks written on guitar. Throughout the sessions, she was also pregnant with her son West, her first child with husband, artist Jamie Ward. “When I was pregnant, I felt really grounded mentally and physically,” she says. “I'll always miss the way it felt to sing then, but am so glad we captured that time.”

Born out of that period of intense joy, anticipation, and transition, the EP finds Jewell forever changed, and fully embracing intention for her artistry above all else moving forward. “It’s empowering to remember that creativity is a gift, but it’s also a muscle and a light that you don't want to neglect or hold back or let get wrapped up in fear,” she says.
