Mona Shirakawa is a Singaporean-Japanese singer-songwriter blending soft R&B, dreamy pop, lo-fi textures and layered harmonies with a bilingual touch. Her music captures moments of love, friendship, healing, and growing up through an intimate, emotional lens.
Her musical journey began with a cappella in high school, which she continued in university as part of the band “Limerick”. The group placed 3rd on the national TV show Hamonepu (ハモネプリーグ) and released an EP through Universal Music Japan.
After gaining experience in a group setting, Mona chose to pursue a solo path—hoping her songs can brighten someone’s day, even just a little.
