Monty Hasan is an Indonesian-American entrepreneur, music producer, and DJ based in Bali.

Raised between San Diego and Jakarta, he's spent his career building things – first as founder of Topiku, a social enterprise making sustainable headwear since 2015, and as a partner in Basho Projects, a Jakarta F&B group.

Music is where those worlds meet. He calls his sound "Booty Groove," a fusion of house, jazz, soul, and Afro-Latin rhythm, and helped grow Jakarta's underground scene through Bebop Bar + Kitchen and Bebop Music Collective (BMC).

His work has been featured by Keep Hush, Mixmag Indonesia, and Triple J.
