Born in California's Bay Area, Mooky moved around between the Los Angeles area and Portland Oregon. Mooky began to develop his future in music. Searching for his own identity, Mooky soon developed a sound that was not only derivative of the classic beats of South Los Angeles Hip-Hop but from his own eclectic musical tastes in order to reach a broader audience. Through his career Mooky has had the opportunity work with heavy hitters B-Legit, Clyde Carson, Compton AV, Mitchy Slick, Skeme & more while building his own personal projects. As Mooky continued to expand his footprint he took his love for music one step further when he launched his own independent record label, New West Music Group. Subsequently, between his music and personally owned label, Mooky has generated quite the buzz along the way.
