Their 2023 LP Apotheosis Pageant (produced by Inhalt) was primarily inspired by early 80's acts such as Turquoise Days, OMD, Oppenheimer Analysis, Fad Gadget, and Human League. In correlation with the release, More Ephemerol embarked on a month-long U.S. tour supporting icy songstress Madeline Goldstein.
"More Ephemerol offer us one of the best albums of the year. From the fusion of crystal-clear electronics, punk attitude, and intelligent lyrics, a retro-futuristic masterpiece is born. The roots of which go back to the early '80s, but the result is modern and contemporary in every way. The greatest value of the album is that it goes against the digital zeitgeist and every sound is made with analog devices, and behind the machine music are PEOPLE who squeeze everything out of their beloved synthesizers with creativity and passion. And the wonderful music is crowned by the enchanting duet between Chad Fjerstad and Tamara Sky which spans the entire album. This record will stay with me for decades” -Kollektiva, Hungary
In 2024, the duo continued their aural mission, completing a full U.S. co-headline tour with fellow L.A. industrial spectacle Dildox and carried on playing several festivals across the nation such as Substance, Purple City, and Sanctum.
