MØTH

MØTH is a pseudonym for a Los Angeles-based female musician and visual artist. She creates and produces theatrical music videos spotlighting dancers, gymnasts, actors, magicians, and other artists she discovers in the underground LA art-scene. Beginning with writing, singing, composing, and recording her own music to producing an art-video performance, her work often showcases a particular story that has resonated deeply from her own life from love, magic, and her own fascination with the galaxy to touching on darker subjects like loss, being bullied in school, and feeling like an “outsider” growing up. Her music strays away from a single genre because each release is entirely different, however her current release, “Intergalactic POV” is categorized as downtempo electro-pop.

Born from a family of visual artists, she is also a painter of large-scale art pieces incorporating subversive comedy with historical epigrams often of modern-day pop culture icons stylized in a classical 1400’s work of historical art.

Since MØTH likes to interweave her numerous talents, she often uses the slogan, “Follow the MØTH” as a way to create an interaction with the viewer and a desire for them to follow her and uncover her various projects. MØTH 2 ҒLÆMЭ.
