Motherwood started as a project of Guilherme Malosso and Yuri Camargo in the city of Americana, Brazil in 2016.
A partnership that has lasted many years and generated great musical projects, such as DeathTron, released in 2012.
The idea was to make a black metal project to honor the bands that influenced us, like Burzum, Katatonia, Emperor, Enslaved, Opeth, Darkthrone, among others.
In 2017 the band released their first album, "Motherwood" on CD by Heavy Metal Rock.
In 2023, the year that marks the return of the band to activities, the second Full-Lenght "Im Zeichen der Dunkelheit" is released on tape by Canadian label Low Noise Productions and on CD by Brazilian label Heavy Metal Rock.
