Thailand’s Move Along make the kind of scrappy, heart-on-sleeve pop punk that could’ve been ripped straight out of a cramped Y2K basement show, but with the restless urgency of 2025. Formed in Khon Kaen and now based in Bangkok, they fuse melodic hooks with bursts of raw, hardcore-leaning energy, writing about depression, dead-end jobs, growing pains, and the chaos of city life.
Their new album Quarter Life (out August 15 via Trashlab Records) is a fast, loud, and painfully relatable soundtrack to being 20-something in a world that doesn’t slow down. Across its tracks, the band channels the vulnerability of pop punk’s golden era and the grit of modern DIY hardcore, sounding equally ready for a singalong or a pile-on.
This September, they’re heading out on their biggest run yet with a Southeast Asia + Japan tour with stops in Malaysia, Singapore, and Japan, bringing Thai punk to international stages with the same unfiltered energy they’ve honed at home.
