MSTR WTVR, a romantic Latino minstrel, has spent much of his life wandering on any budget he could manage. After many trips around the globe, and countless adventures later, he tends to call home whatever’s beneath his feet—oftentimes just a sailboat. He draws much of his melodies and summery inspirations from the Tropicalia era of 1960’s Brasil, and dresses them in modern synths and beats inspired by European dance and American hip-hop.
In his undeniably beachy vibe, WTVR trades in the image of the guitar-ballad-beachbum for an energetic and sophisticated whimsy, stumbling through life with a champagne bottle to the sky.
