The Liverpudlian MT Jones paid his dues as a busker in his pre-teens, then in pubs, clubs and parties across the north west before establishing himself as a multi-instrumentalist session player and songwriter for some of the standout artists of his generation. Gigging globally with different bands, M T developed his own repertoire – a soulful and sincere mix of references and inspiration invoking Motown via the Mersey, a sound which wears this artist’s writing and performing prowess lightly whilst leaving the listener in no doubt as to their depth, even as you wonder at the possibilities.
