Mucci

Ben Mulchandani AKA Mucci is a producer, artist, professional club/events DJ, skilled audio engineer, songwriter, and humble Uber driver. His love for music started in 4th grade in school band. Coming from a percussive background, he played drums and percussion for 10 years until 2022, including multiple seasons of marching percussion through high school and college, before shifting his musicianship in other ways. He began producing around 2017 on a cracked version of Logic Pro X on his outdated school-issued laptop, learning hip-hop and trap beats via YouTube tutorials and selling them to friends.

When COVID hit, Mucci's school year went online. He picked up DJing as a hobby to pass the time in lockdown in 2020. Mucci never DJ'd for anybody in person until moving to ASU the following year. His passion for DJing and producing grew, inspiring him to make house music and EDM. Mucci switched to Ableton in 2022, dropping his first single “Heartburn” later that year. He kept producing and releasing music, promoting through professional playlist pitchers. Recruited by Rua Young, a fellow ASU student, to remix his hit song "God Did", he signed the remix to Capitol CMG- his first big record deal. After graduating with a degree in Popular Music from ASU, Mucci continues to make music and plans to drop an EP later in 2025.
