I want to be in a place in my career that if my favorite artist calls me up and says “Collab bro?”, I can say “Nahhhh”. Not that I would ever say no, but it would be nice to just have the option; options are good.


I think daily about working with the great and powerful wizard himself, Rick Rubin. Have you seen “Shangri-la” on Starz? The dude has some serious sage-like advice and has coaxed beautiful music out of some of my favorite artists.
