Mulai is a Milan based producer from Brescia (Italy), who has published an LP titled "HD Dreams", following rave reviews for his first EPs “Glue”, “Glue Remixes” (featuring Larry Gus, Furtherset, Pigro on Sofa and Stefano Moretti) and "Something for Someone".
The title “ HD Dreams” refers to unnatural and digital dreams and in general to the way in which technology, even though often invisibly, strongly influences our subconscious.
In this work, it’s hypothesized that, in a not so distant future, technology could influence our perception of reality and emotions to the point of imprinting itself in our most instinctive and intimate part and therefore in our dreams, too.
Mulai describes that need of strong, sudden and ephemeral emotions new generations long to satisfy on a daily basis, asking himself wether this need is real or just the result of a senseless hunger for emotions created by technology.
