MUNYAA

Hailing from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, MUNYAA is an energetic Afro-pop and Amapiano artist. Born to a musician family, MUNYAA found his passion for music at a young age. He would constantly be around music at family gatherings where his parents would play live. Inspired by his parents, he began recording music at 6 years old and never looked back.
The 21-year-old Afro-pop sensation has seen success with his single “Moyongcwele” — an energetic, vibrant, smooth dance song sung in the languages Ndebele and Zulu. The single was produced by the Grammy-nominated sound engineer, Marshall “Magic” Bryant, whose credentials include artists like Mary J. Blige, Tyga, Ty Dolla Sign, and Young Thug.
After moving to the United States in 2020, MUNYAA brought the Afro-pop sound to a whole new audience. MUNYAA is proud of his heritage and connects to his home through his music.
His love for his home influences the bouncy and energetic style of his music and the soulful passion with which he sings and performs. MUNYAA’s music is cheerful, inspirational, and always a good time.
