Born and raised in Wolverhampton, Musa has strong family values which shine through in both his personal demeanour and his music. His parent’s moved to the UK at an early stage of their childhood having been a product of the British colonial emigration path – from India, to Kenya, to the newly formed Pakistan and finally to England.

Musa’s persona and his music are one and the same. His ethos is about being humble yet proud of your heritage, traditional thinking but forward moving, self-acceptance but motivation to improve.

With the stigma of crime, drugs and gang violence firmly attached with the UK urban scene, Musa is a breath of fresh air with his approach and his lyrics. His message is the reverse of what the majority of rap artists are talking about today. He encourages abstinence from intoxications, respect and kindness to others and working hard to progress. Musa feels he can be a blueprint for young artists who do not need to glorify the taboo aspects involved with urban music to succeed.

Future Plans -

Musa understands this is just the start and recognises the need to work harder and push further now that he has the opportunity to showcase his skills. Musa is always exploring new sounds, constantly in the studio and always on the lookout to collaborate with artists who he feels can complement his vibe.
