Mỹ Anh is a Vietnamese singer-songwriter and producer celebrated for her innovative artistry and cultural impact. She made history as the first Gen Z artist from Vietnam to appear on New York’s Times Square screen in Spotify's EQUAL campaign, honoring outstanding global female artists. In 2020, she made her official independent debut with “Got You.” Rising to national prominence as the runner-up on The Heroes in 2021, she further cemented her international appeal with performances at 88rising’s Head in the Clouds festival and her historic appearance on New York’s Times Square screen via Spotify's EQUAL campaign. With the successful launch of her debut album Em (and its English version Me) in early 2024, and in late 2024, Mỹ Anh previewed her evolving sound by performing “Letting Go” at the Asia Song Festival in Seoul and during the opening segment of THỦY’s “wings” tour—the first Vietnamese artist to perform at Coachella. Continuing her artistic evolution, early 2025 saw the international release of “Letting Go,” an English R&B track that quickly featured on nine of Spotify’s New Music Friday playlists, accumulating over 12,000 streams and reaching more than 650,000 listeners within 24 hours.
