Author, musician, producer and songwriter Thành Luke was born and raised in Da Lat City, Viet Nam, known as the frontman of Vietnamese rock band <a href="spotify:artist:2j3AXmye1FJXoGOXr6tufj" data-name="Cá Hồi Hoang">Cá Hồi Hoang</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:3rSWgrxSPaAF9em4VEe8GD" data-name="The Luka Project">The Luka Project</a>. In 2016, Luke released his first solo album <a href="spotify:album:03hmbnJwr0eAqXJLdqa5df" data-name="Qua Từng Nếp Nhăn">Qua Từng Nếp Nhăn</a>, showcasing folk-influenced indie pop while continued writing and producing for Cá Hồi Hoang. His second solo work "<a href="spotify:album:7e4CNUxHEDsbNgRcqJYjgf" data-name="Gián Đoạn">Gián Đoạn</a>" was delivered in May 2020, featuring alternative-rock singles <a href="spotify:album:5joEaSSZYMa5jUcTOUFEPd" data-name="Cùng">Cùng</a> and <a href="spotify:track:5sQdUUdrcqPsSSbHqVKT1h" data-name="Rõ Ràng">Rõ Ràng</a>. The record is described as a "new stream of creativity that rest up for the band at times" and inspired by Prince and Radiohead's Thom Yorke.
After ten years, Cá Hồi Hoang split up in 2023 after six studio albums. Luke began working on his next act <a href="spotify:artist:3rSWgrxSPaAF9em4VEe8GD" data-name="The Luka Project">The Luka Project</a>, released the self-titled album on November 10, 2023. Heavily inspired by the romance of dandy music box arrangement and a hint of classical, 60s Motown feel, the 11-track record mark its way to be the most important turning point of Luke's career in art and music, followed by The Luka Project's alternative-rock album <a href="spotify:album:5kbxDHbBAHrrzmy3yhrTE1" data-name="Tên Tôi Là">Tên Tôi Là</a>, presented the following year. This period marked a productive time with Luke's official third album, titled <a href="spotify:album:6F6v6VlvCojUk8svv7IQj0" data-name="32">32</a>, released on November 4, 2024.
In 2025, Thành Luke issued the first single <a href="spotify:album:5jByok9ACy3STsOetVJXpT" data-name="Dựa Vào Nhau">Dựa Vào Nhau</a> and announced his fourth studio album, "Hồi Nhỏ Tụi Mình Xem Quá Nhiều Phim" , released in July 11th.
