My Dementia was formed in 2015 in Lisbon, Portugal, drawing inspiration from the early 90's doom/death metal scene. The sound contrasts aggressive death metal riffs with the crushing weight of slowed and heavy doom. Blending visceral death and doom growls with sorrowful clean vocals, My Dementia crafts a melancholic and sombre atmosphere.
Tragically, frontman Miguel passed away after the production of the 2025 album had finished, but before its release. This album now stands as a tribute to his life and work, imortalizing his voice and artistry.
