My Next Planet is more than a band—it’s a story of legacy, brotherhood, and emotional rock. Founded by Justin Coppolino, MNP traces its roots back to Philly, where he and twin brother Johnny grew up surrounded by guitars and inspiration from their late father, Tony Santoro of Black Eyed Susan. After Tony’s passing, the brothers vowed to carry on his legacy, forming Still Standing in 1998 and touring and playing shows with artists such as Alice Cooper, Sugarcult, Dashboard Confessional, Motion City Soundtrack, Story of the Year, Plain White T’s, Madina Lake, H20 and many more .
In 2023, Justin launched My Next Planet, teaming up remotely with L.A. songwriter Michael Caruso. Together, they craft powerful songs from across the map, with Johnny mixing and producing. Joined by drummer Ray Benitez and guitarist Chris Wheeler, MNP blends tight rhythm, soulful solos, and rich harmonies.
Their debut album, It’s All So Personal, reflects love, loss, and the depth of lived experience. With singles “Funny Thing,” “This Summer,” and “Already Dead” streaming now, MNP invites you on a journey of sound, soul, and story.
