MYRNE

A textured blend of melody, atmosphere, and euphoria, Singapore-born artist MYRNE serves an eclectic flair of progressive and trance-inspired house he affectionately terms ‘emotional dance music'.

Initially getting his start in the early SoundCloud wave scene, in 2015 MYRNE signed his first synthesizer-inspired EP <a href="spotify:album:4u0bAsaDpwNaJqQrqNNYbo" data-name="Softsins">Softsins</a> to Mad Decent. After getting broad support from titans across the spectrum - with names like <a href="spotify:artist:2o5jDhtHVPhrJdv3cEQ99Z" data-name="Tiësto">Tiësto</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:60d24wfXkVzDSfLS6hyCjZ" data-name="Martin Garrix">Martin Garrix</a>, &amp; <a href="spotify:artist:3dz0NnIZhtKKeXZxLOxCam" data-name="Porter Robinson">Porter Robinson</a> regularly rinsing his productions - MYRNE ventured on an impressive international run of shows in 2018, with headline shows around the U.S. and festival stops in Ultra Miami, Tomorrowland, &amp; Hard Summer. In 2019, he completed his adventures in high-energy cinematic electronica with the release of his <a href="spotify:album:2AyjqE9evC69E6uuJVlwUH" data-name="In Search Of Solitude">In Search Of Solitude</a> LP.

In his adolescence, MYRNE had an appetite for all aspects of music; it was only in the late 2000s where he fell in love with dance music through the likes of <a href="spotify:artist:7yxi31szvlbwvKq9dYOmFI" data-name="Jon Hopkins">Jon Hopkins</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:3jQ8hpdQo3TCEnb5gmOtH5" data-name="Erol Alkan">Erol Alkan</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:4jGpKAmwvU263l0tUh4xKU" data-name="Joris Voorn">Joris Voorn</a>, and <a href="spotify:artist:1vCWHaC5f2uS3yhpwWbIA6" data-name="Avicii">Avicii</a>. He quickly discovered a penchant for production by teaching himself FL Studio while serving in the Singaporean military.

After 30 shows that took him from the Brooklyn Mirage to Countdown NYE in 2023, MYRNE turned heads with the inclusion of 4 of his IDs in <a href="spotify:artist:27gtK7m9vYwCyJ04zz0kIb" data-name="Lane 8">Lane 8</a>’s Winter &#39;23 Mixtape.
