Former ‘child-star’ Nadine Sutherland OD, made her stage debut, in 1979, at the age of eleven, as the first winner  of Jamaica’s popular “Tastee Talent Contest”. Reggae superstar ‘Bob’ Marley  signed her to his Tuff Gong label. Described as Reggae’s “Teen Queen”, with  hits including “Starvation” and “Until”, even as she was providing backing vocals for Peter Tosh, Dennis Brown, Shabba Ranks and the soundtrack of Disney’s Sebastian the Crab.  

She sings Reggae Ballads and Dancehall – with noted hits “ACTION” and “Anything for you”. Her story is one for the Music Books and its still being written.
2025 - Nadine celebrates 45 years in the industry. She was live on 'BEST OF THE BEST' in Florida, she was in ALABAMA , Washington, ROTOTOM in Spain, She sang for Rita Marley in New York and performs in Jamaica for New Years!! WHATS NEW? She won an Essence Short Film award, for her debut role in the film "Someone Loves You" and released "Niceness" - a smooth nostalgic ballad, on January 2, 2026. Look out for Nadine in Europe this year!
