Nahuatl Sound System is the project of Mexican composer and electronic musician Fernando Perez Gomez (also known as Nahuatl Jaguar / Sudden Reverb). More noticed for his work as label-owner and creator of Aztek Electronic Music - A fusion blend of electronic rhythms and sounds with roots influences from all around the globe. His work also championed the Aztec style of Dub with Nahuatl Sound System, which brought together for the first time subversive Mexican alternative folklore to Australia’s underground music scene with a live band of musicians on stage, including Hiphop and Reggae mc’s, Neo-Soul singer Nai Palm (Hiatus Kayote), the Melbourne Vibraphonik Orchestra and Colombian percussionists with his productions: a tight blend of Dub, Techno, Cumbia and Trip Hop with Mexican corazon.
