Bubbling up from the subatomic soup of psychedelic bass, Nanosphere is the technofunkadelic alter ego of sound sculptor Sam Squirrel — a master of elastic rhythms and glitched-out grooves. For over two decades, he’s been weaving frequencies that pulse, shimmer, and shapeshift through space, blending nu-skool breaks, psy-glitch, and low-end psychedelia into audio organisms that evolve in real time.

Refusing to stay pinned to any one style, Nanosphere’s sonic signatures stretch across timelines and tempos — from lush synthetic dreamscapes to deep churning basslines that rewire synapses and spark spontaneous dancefloor eruptions. His recent album Beyond Lies the Wub (Shanti Planti) dives deeper still — a cosmic journey through the spaces between genres, where wobble meets wonder and nothing stays still for long.

With past releases on Broken Robot Records, Luminus Music, Desert Trax, and Shanti Planti, Nanosphere’s a familiar name in the psychedelic underground. He’s cast his frequencies across the globe, appearing at cult-favourite festivals such as Boom Festival (PT), Tipper & Friends (USA), Rainbow Serpent (AUS), Rabbits Eat Lettuce (AUS), Luminate (NZ), Triplicity (UK), and Twisted Frequency (NZ).

Part alchemist, part prankster, always tuned into the pulse of the unpredictable — Nanosphere continues to mutate, elevate, and detonate dancefloors wherever the bassline may lead.
