Formed in 2016 in Visby. Nårdegaist combines old school black metal with a modern sound and lyrics in the almost extinct language of Gutnish. Lyrical themes are mainly about Gotlandic folklore or common darkness.
In 2016 they released one song, "1361", and followed up with a full length album, "Gaimald", recorded during 2017 and released in early 2018. In 2020 they released their second album, "Haimganggsringgninggi".
The current line up is Baul (vocals), Urd (guitar) Vrangg (guitar), Raar (bass) and Mot (drums).
