After living in London for several years and holding a residency at the Roundhouse (LDN), Natascha Polké has taken not only Switzerland but the world by storm. Since her debut in 2021, Natascha Polké has ventured further and further into the exploration of sound and is now a highly successful live act.
Natascha, however, feels equally (if not more) at home in the studio as she does in the booth. With her debut EP "Stars Wrapped in Skin”, released on <a href="spotify:playlist:2VkBPEa6K7y46GZJlP5EIt" data-name="Definition:Music">Definition:Music</a> in spring of 2021. A production that was shortly followed by widely acclaimed releases on international landmark labels such as Anjunadeep, Stil vor Talent, This Never Happened, Einmusika and Gardens of Babylon, just to name a few.
With her extensive indie/folk-pop background it might seem odd at first glance, that the gifted singer-songwriter now can only be described as one of the up-and-coming techno artists within Switzerland’s vibrant underground culture. Yet, Natascha play- and powerfully interweaves what appears like an unusual match into sublime, sophisticated melancholic productions, transcending stylistic boundaries altogether. It is this effortless interpretation and transmission of music that has put her on the map of the global dance scene and has turned Natascha Polké into a household name at the most renowned venues from Ibiza‘s Club Chinois to Gardens of Babylon in Amsterdam and from Mykonos‘ Scorpios to Hamburg‘s Dockville.
