Nate Phung is a Southern California-based punk rock/ska musician who grew up in Los Angeles's underground ska scene and Southern California's punk rock scene, cutting his teeth as a keyboardist and collaborator in bands such as The Two Tone Boners, Isolated Victims, Green Streak, LiveSka All-Stars, Half Past Two, The Maxies, Odd Robot, and Bad Manners.

While a regular member of The Two Tone Boners, Nate Phung filled in for shows the band had to drop from time to time, performing solo acoustic sets of The Two Tone Boner songs, originals, and ska and punk rock covers. Over time, he would continue writing songs and performing at open mics and backyard parties.

Nate Phung is now a high school band and orchestra teacher who moonlights with his new punk rock/ska/power pop songwriting project Nate Funk. Nate Funk follows a DIY music recording and distribution ethic, recording and releasing music digitally on a donation-based, "name your price" basis.
