Native Youth, born Gabriela Guerrero on May 7th, 1994, is an alternative RnB artist from Miami, FL. Growing up in the Magic City gave her a taste of the various sounds Miami has to offer. She took what she learned from the music programs she was in during her school years and combined it with what she experienced from the already established rap scene in South Florida to create her own sound and join the underground RnB scene.
Influenced by Willow and Doja Cat, Native Youth describes herself as alternative because of the way her music blends divergent genres. She mostly works with two producers- Kaixen and Triangles. She credits Kaixen for the darker RnB vibes her music gives off sonically, and Triangles for the more alternative, Lo-fi tunes.
