Scything guitars meld with cold, melodic synthesisers whilst dancefloor basslines throb to a larger-than-life drum machine in NAUT's end-times post-punk/dark rock. This is the sound of a bad trip on the dancefloor and NAUT want it to be a night to remember.
Dark yet danceable, their sound is at once familiar but also unashamedly eclectic and timeless. With nods to their post-punk forebears as well as classic hard rockers, they create a peerless sound that also invites in influences as polarised as 90s-synth pop and black metal. Allegory, history and myth are used as prisms through which to view the current state of the world, and provide the basis for lyrics that question the undeniable foot on the throat of humanity's divine spark.
