Born in the parish of St. Mary, Jamaica, Ricardo Fraser, better known to many as Navino
is creating a path for himself in the music industry. The transition of moving with his
mother and siblings from St. Mary to Spanish Town placed him in an environment where
a lot of musical greats have flourished. His love for music developed as a youngster and
continued into his teenage years as he was known amongst his peers to dance. He later
transformed his talent into singing to let his voice be heard.
He attended Spanish Town High School where the name Navino was given to him by a
close friend. After going from studio to studio, he gained the attention of fast-growing
artiste Aidonia, allowing him to be placed on a larger platform. After the birth of his
first child, supporting his family became his main priority and he inked a deal with
Patrick “Roach” Samuels and JA Productions. Not long after, Navino found his first hit
on the Overproof Riddim, called Chillin Time.
Gaining attention, Navino and his team decided to make moves in 2018 by recording music for producers such as Markus Records, Good Good Productions and Damage Musiq to name a few. Creating a worldwide buzz, he has found a hit again with "Life Too Short" produced by Damage Musiq . Navino has no plans of slowing down the momentum with new songs already recorded and an EP slated to be released this year.
