NEAA is a pop, hip/hop, and r&b artist born and raised in Toronto, Canada. She began pursuing a music career at the age of 17, momentarily parting from her 7-year-old dream of becoming a professional soccer player. This decision came after a series of injuries from both the sport and other traumas forced NEAA to take time away from soccer. The time away from the game became a time of self-discovery, and is when she learned that music is also her calling. Not being from a musical background and not growing up in a musical family, this was an unexpected decision, but nonetheless, NEAA continues to improve with each release and grow a steady following.
