Necroticus was a symphonic black metal band based in Orange County, California from 2007 to 2015. Their style was focused on darkness, using the keyboards to create a gothic atmosphere that loomed over the aggression of the guitars.
Tragically, vocalist Coldvoid passed away in 2015 at the age of 26. He never finished recording vocal tracks for the demo “A Single Night of Immortality” so it was released with incomplete vocals.
Necroticus split up before the death of Coldvoid and many of the members formed the band Salem, which was later renamed Coldvoid in his memory. Members of Necroticus have since also played in Holocaust, Arachnigod, <a href="spotify:artist:22Z6qd7J1riw6MrTHrsnpj" data-name="Withermoon">Withermoon</a>, and <a href="spotify:artist:5Cz18ETgjR6kcVMUK0YOqD" data-name="Nachtmystium">Nachtmystium</a>.
