Nedelle Torrisi grew up studying the violin and voice, and performing in musicals. She attended Berklee College of Music on a jazz vocal scholarship, and completed her music degree at San Francisco State University. As a solo artist, Nedelle has released albums on such record labels as Kill Rock Stars and Ethereal Sequence/Drag City. With her previous band Cryptacize, she has released two albums with Sufjan Stevens’ Asthmatic Kitty label. Nedelle also spent time as a background vocalist/instrumentalist for Stevens in support of his Age of Adz album. Nedelle writes the love advice column, Advice From Paradise.
