Nemesis

Nemesis is an only all-female melodic death metal band in Serbia.The band was formed in late 2013. influenced by Arch Enemy. At first, they started as a cover band, but since 2016. they play only their original songs. Among the many concerts across the country, they also performed at some of the biggest Serbian festivals such as Exit festival, Arsenal Festival, Belgrade Beer Fest, Beer Garden Festival and Serbian Underground Festival. They have won the first price on Demo Masters festival, second place on Bunt Rock Festival which is aired on national television in Serbia and had a great performance at Demofest Festival in Banja Luka in front of a crowd of 5000 people. They also played many gigs in clubs and at festivals in Bulgaria, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia & Hercegovina and performed at Revolution Festival in Romania.
They had the opportunity to open concerts for Nervosa, Thy Art Is Murder and Bullet For My Valentine.
They have released their debut album called „The War Is On“ in the beginning of 2020 under the Grom Records label. Their music is mostly influenced by Arch Enemy, Death, In Flames and Kreator and their lyrics are inspired by social activism and fight against capitalism and globalization.
Nemesis are: Sanja Drča, vocals, Aleksandra Petrović, lead guitar, Tijana Milivojević, rhythm guitar, Biljana Sovilj, bass, and Selena Simić, drums.
