NEO wavv

“NEO wavv” is a visionary that blends both hip-hop and R&B in a unique and captivating sound that truly brings you into another realm. Starting at the age of 14, Neo has been writing songs and producing music in hopes of creating a “new wave” in Malaysian music.

With the fan favourite “SMS,” a Malay R&B bop, and “CHAINS OUT,” a moody slow-motion hip-hop track, while also drifting into the dark R&B sound, in summary, NEO wavv paints the auditory canvas with multiple sounds, including electro-infused sonics and pop. The name NEO wavv comes from his heart, where at some point he needed to breathe new air into his life, a new beginning, a new wave.

Neo’s musical journey is much more complex than others, with his first album titled “CITYLOVE” being a very different but similar approach to R&B, a smooth and rhythmic album that showcases the beauty of the city he grew up in, Melaka.

In June 2023, NEO wavv releases his second album, an astonishing project, “ECLIPSE,” a sonic experience of both worlds, the sun and the moon, a fast-paced journey of ups and downs. You can find love, loneliness, and lust but also joy, fearlessness, and loss, jam-packed in this 18-track album.
