Neon BLK

Born and raised in Houston, Texas, <a href="spotify:artist:5VkH6r0DV9UD26XXnVFXhn" data-name="Neon BLK">Neon BLK</a> has always had an ear and affinity for music. From picking up an instrument at 12 to now a versatile singer with several experimental R&amp;B tracks under his belt.
Neon BLK has been in concert bands, jazz bands, opera workshops, and international performances before finally sitting down and developing a solo project.
In 2020, he finally released his first mixtape <a href="spotify:album:1hVR8ldDsAnxu0b40wqhT2" data-name="Interpretations">Interpretations</a> despite the many obstacles that came about.
In 2021, he released his second mixtape/debut EP and two more EPs: <a href="spotify:album:5jnJwGIb5EUAZ5WWhXHKBI" data-name="CHILL">CHILL</a>, <a href="spotify:album:0rrMw3XySAQhTQuITGmORh" data-name="MACABRE">MACABRE</a>, and (as of 2022) <a href="spotify:album:72DTV1rlmFkKo2Uq7NGQts" data-name="VIOLET">VIOLET</a> on all platforms under his label NEON BLK MUSIK LLC. The three releases make up The Unrequited Love Trilogy.
Neon BLK’s influences stem from retro horror films from the 60s to the 80s, the individualism of the 90s, the 00s era of Toonami and Adult Swim, and the popular electronic sounds from that era.
