Originally hailing from the desert, Neon Coast is the moniker for Travis Crawford - a Nevada native who relocated New York over a decade ago. Soon after moving to the city, he set out to fulfill a childhood dream to make music; something to be played and connected to outside of the walls of the bedroom where he taught himself how to play guitar as a child.
"The experiences I've had and people I've met in New York have really shaped who I am as a person today, but I've absolutely got my roots on the west coast where things are a little more laid back," he notes.
While he has worked with other creatives - such as NYC based composer/producer Erica Glyn on the debut EP ‘2 Avenue’ - he has since self-recorded and produced a number of tracks that reach beyond traditional rock and Americana genres and explore influences of R&B and soul.
