Fast melodic black metal band, nether, is a band that was created in 2019 by a set of individuals that all have earned their credits in the Belgian underground. nether is that band that takes you back to the roots of the tree. Deep, well hidden in the soil of the earth there lies the essence! The debutalbum was entitled Between Shades And Shadows and was released digital and on cd by the Spanish Art Gates Records and on vinyl by the German Schattenpfade label (2020).
In 2024 the band inked a deal with Void Wanderer Productions/War Productions for the release of their second album (CD/digital) The Blood Of Rats . This album was recorded in March 2023 by Wessel Reijman of Laster in the Catacomben studios Tilburg and was mastered by Jb Van Der Wal. Artwork is done by Wesley Dewanckel (Kludde...) Guestvocals on the The Obelisk by Dutch blackmetal duo - Walg.
The new asthonishing artwork is a reflection of the rats in our society that try to sicken and invade our own personal roots, hence the albumtitel: The Blood Of Rats.
