Internet star Nick Bean was born in Maiden, North Carolina, but it wasn't until he moved to San Antonio, Texas in 2015 that his popularity exploded on social media video site YouNow. He formed the boy band-esque group 5quad ("five quad") with four other YouNow stars -- Timmy Connors, Rudan Custodio, Edwin Burgos, and Zach Clayton -- and recorded a three-track EP, TRENZ. Released at the end of 2015, the EP included Bean's hip-hop-flavored track "Wifi Wifey." As a solo performer, Bean also recorded the topical rap track "Netflix and Chill" and the poppy "Bubblegum Girl." ~ Neil Z. Yeung
