Taylor is an up-and-coming young composer, arranger, multi-instrumentalist, and all around nice guy. His love of music and ability to intertwine sight and sound has afforded him opportunities to compose for a wide range of instrumentation (full orchestra, wind ensemble, string quartets, bluegrass, electronic music, and pop/country music) and application (live performance, documentary movie, streaming and master recordings).
His work has been commissioned and/or performed by such groups as: Symphony In The Valley – A Dash Through The Movies (2019), Middle Tennessee State University Honors Orchestra – The Land of Ramora (2022), La Plaza – Nashville Notes (2023), Tintagel – Nashville Summer Orchestral Institute (Summer 2024), and Dark Alley – Green Hills Wind Symphony (Fall 2024).
He has also had the opportunity to score several short films (Fiction, Right Matters, & The World Beyond) and one full length documentary (57/30). In addition to composing, he has also orchestrated and recorded many instrumentalist for various other projects.
Taylor also enjoys performing live music as a percussionist for several area symphonies, as a drummer for several rock bands and worship teams, and as a jazz pianist busking downtown. If you couldn’t tell by now – Taylor loves all things music.
