Nick Kish is a Worship Leader, Songwriter and Recording Artist. He was born in Buffalo, NY where he currently resides with his wife Bethany and 4 young children. Nick serves as the Worship Pastor at his home church The Chapel (www.thechapel.com). He has had the privilege to write songs with some of the best, including: Matt Armstrong, Bart Millard (Mercy Me), Benji Cowart, Thad Cockrell, Michael Farren, and many others! He is passionate about sharing the hope and life changing power of Jesus through music!
Nick’s Latest Single Amens & Hallelujahs was written during the pandemic with Matt Armstrong and Tony Wood. Hearing and feeling the weight of so many dealing with the loss of family members, jobs and homes as well as folks struggling with heightened levels of anxiety, depression, financial struggle reminded Nick of all those within the Bible that dealt with similar things. One example is David within the psalms. David had to remind his own soul to worship the Lord in the midst of difficult times. He realized that the things in life didn’t always feel like Amen and Hallelujah moments but even in the midst of those difficulties we are called to still Worship the Lord for who he is and find strength in him.
Nick’s hope is that as you listen to this song you find yourself able to do the same thing as you navigate this broken world as well as find encouragement from Jesus words in John 16:33 "In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
