After a collaboration with Full Intention and remix activity on Xpansions, Degrees of Motion and more, Nick’s audio output has started to really create some impressive waves with remixes of Hot Streak, Cultural Vibe and Melanie C all finding new fans. His remix of the classic Hideaway by De’lacy topped the UK Music Week club chart , scored radio play from stations as diverse as Rinse FM and Gaydio, and popped up across heavily trafficked Defected and Horse Meat Disco live stream output too. The track also hit the top 3 on Traxsource.
The release prior to this, Free Yourself by Birdee, Nick Reach Up and Barbara Tucker was snapped up by hot Australian label Tinted/Central Station and whilst also being a top 3 Traxsource hit scored a highly coveted ‘self certified‘ future anthem spin on daytime Radio 1 courtesy of Mistajam. Subsequent releases such as his collaboration with Dave Spoon ,Elaine Mai and Murli on Toolroom have continued to ignite dancefloors globally.
The Reach Up fanbase has built steadily across three compilations on BBE, a legendary residency at South London venue the Bussey Building and impressive touring which has seen Nick and his DJ partner Andy Smith play UK festivals Bestival, Blue Dot, Eastern Electrics, Boardmasters, Kendal Calling, Beautiful Days, and Festival no.6. With three summers on the bounce playing for Carl Cox at his Ibiza Space residency and gigs in Portugal,Hong Kong and Germany to boot, the Reach Up sound continues to find new fans.
