Confessions wrapped in an indie-folk-pop style...
Nicky Phillips is a half British, half Czech, Londoner with her heart having found its home in Manchester and The North of England. She shares intimate thoughts and experiences through her songs on guitar and piano, tending towards a mix of indie-folk and folk-pop. Her voice switches effortlessly between delicate and powerful, taking you on a journey to unexpected places and melodies.
Nicky released her first single in 2021 followed by her debut EP soon after, leading to her music being featured on BBC Introducing. She has since released a number of singles exploring different sounds and styles. She is currently recording and self-producing her second EP, alongside writing her first full-length album.
Having just come off of her first UK tour, Nicky has performed shows in London, Bristol, Liverpool, Edinburgh, Cambridge and Manchester. Previously, Nicky has performed at well-known venues such as Matt and Phred’s (Manchester), The Bedford (London) and Prohibition Recording Studios (Liverpool).
