Born in 1973, Nicolas Moreaux is a French composer and double bassist.
He had collaborated and recorded with numerous well-known jazz musicians from throughout the world, including Chris Cheek, Jeff Ballard, Jorge Rossy, and Tigran Hamasyan. released three albums as the leader and three as a co-leader, featuring his own compositions on prominent jazz labels (Jazz and People, Sunnyside, and Fresh Sound). In 2013, he won a prestigious Grammy for one of his albums, Fall Somewhere, which won the grand prix du disque Charles Cros.
