Nictomorfo was founded as a one-woman black metal band in 2017.
Their blend of dissonant raw black metal and delirious lyrical themes first materialized in 2018 with the EP De Nocte Inluni, a concentration of rage that uses macabre and mesmerizing sounds.
In 2022, their second EP, Nihil, was released, a representation of an eternal and nihilistic conversation with the inner self, described through a black metal sound that oscillates between cutting, frenetic rhythms and atmospheric harmonies.
In 2023, the project became a band with the addition of Luo (guitar) and Yosotai (bass guitar).
In 2024, their first album as a band, Otium, was released: a full-length that brought to light the group's multifaceted sound: chaotic, bipolar, and disorienting. An album with angry and cathartic themes.
