Nik Fish has remained at the forefront of the Australian club and party scene for 3 decades, known for his fierce, energetic live DJ performances and referred to as an ‘Australian Dance Music Icon’.
From humble beginnings with his own 90’s Radio show MUSIQUARIUM on Sydney’s 2SER FM while also being one of the original DJ’s that played at the birth of Australia’s Rave scene to creating an ARIA nominated number1 dance hit single with ‘The Winner Is...’, Nik's played club and events all around Australia holding a 13 year club residency at Sydney’s infamous Sublime at Home nightclub as well as gigs in New Zealand, Asia and Europe. He’s released over 15 DJ mix albums including <a href="spotify:artist:3H4Zn4hj57wJGZt22ZTWCX" data-name="Ministry of Sound">Ministry of Sound</a>'s ‘HARD NRG’ and Central Station Records ‘Wild’ and ‘Central Energy’ series as well as produced numerous remixes and original tracks.
Voted Top 5 Australian DJ’s for inthemix Top 50 DJ Poll several times and #2 DJ in the country, the highest ranking ever for an Australian Hard Dance DJ.
In 2010 Q-Dance invited him to play at Defqon.1, Holland. He also mixed the official Defqon.1 Australia CD, touring Australia as their official DJ ambassador before performing on the main stage at Defqon.1 Australia with 25 000 people in attendance.
In 2011 he remixed <a href="spotify:artist:0JLR5lHwr8Sjb82eAuQ3bS" data-name="Cortina">Cortina</a>’s classic track, ‘<a href="spotify:track:2cv8NrufnqHGIA4NbQzKaW" data-name="Music Is Moving - Nik Fish Hard Remix">Music Is Moving - Nik Fish Hard Remix</a>’ peaking at #1 on trackitdown.net’s Hardstyle charts.
