Nils Janson is a Swedish trumpet player and composer.
Over the years, Janson has established himself as one of Sweden’s most exciting jazz voices. He has toured internationally from Brazil and China to South Africa and the USA, and has performed with leading names in Swedish jazz as well as the rock band Mando Diao. Early in his career, he was a member of the Fredrik Norén Band, a group that played a key role in introducing new generations of jazz musicians to wider audiences.
His album Alloy showcases his deep knowledge of the jazz tradition combined with a progressive and contemporary sound, continuing his reputation as a versatile and innovative artist.
