Kyle Pogline is a Toronto based trumpet player known for his warm sound, musical versatility and melodic improvisation style. His formative years were spent studying the masters of jazz and black American music, taking heavy influence from players such as Clifford Brown, Freddie Hubbard and Donald Byrd. His recent years have brought him success in writing/performing horn arrangements for exciting new artists such as <a href="spotify:artist:39Cb8HYiuT4clBeNABSjPA" data-name="D2x">D2x</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:6E63sR1XjRyRSkjAPTd39j" data-name="PHELIX">PHELIX</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:2fIXVJyjdQAhvCx7Dzt5Ew" data-name="8OND">8OND</a>.
Kyle's debut EP, "Closure", mixes jazz and contemporary writing styles and features some of Canada's most exciting young talent. His latest project "OCEAN BOMB" is set to release some time in 2024.
