When Nina Vox (AKA Kris Ralph) was sponsored to produce a debut solo album "The Shape of You "it was described as …“A sexy collision between Herbie Hancock and Julie London's wicked sister. A Jazz Jacuzzi where you get the odd glimpse of Tom Waits and Leonard Cohen from between the bubbles.” 

Nina is an accomplished Singer/Actor who plays guitar, percussion, and paints. Gifted with a mellifluous singing voice, Nina has been performing on stages all over Australia since she left school.
Nina grew up in Sydney where she starred in shows with some of Australia's best such as:
The Department with Tracy Mann and Max Gillies,
The Madras House with Peter Carroll and Hugo Weaving
The National tour of Stepping Out with Nancy Hayes, Rowena Wallace and Colette Mann,
The Australian Premiere of Willy Russell’s Blood Brothers with Christina Amphlette and Russell Crowe.

Nina studied at the Conservatorium of Music in Jazz Fundamentals
and trained with Jazz Singing legend Kerrie Biddell

Since joining Tony King as a vocalist and rhythm guitarist ,
Nina has co-written songs for Beautifully Mad’s albums,
"Let Them Fall" on Moonlight Cactus;
"Mandarin Sky" (ASA Award ).
The title track on "Full of the Moon" and "Rubber Bones",
"Just For Two" and "To Do Nothing " on the Beautifully Mad Album.
" Frida ", "Scratch" and "As the Earth would Miss the Sun " on
"Silhouette ( the last CD by Beautifully Mad.).
2011 – “She Kept On Swimming” co-written by Tony King and Nina wins ASA Award for BEST SONG.
