Nine.wav

Nine.wav is a pop/electronic recording artist duo formed by members Arthur and Myles. Despite Arthur and Myles’ common goal of delivering a eclectic range of quality sounds to as wide an audience as possible, their respective backgrounds share both a number of similarities and stark contrasts from one another. Arthur was born and raised in Stroudsburg, whereas Myles spent the majority of his upbringing in Jamaica. The two faced their fair share of hardship throughout their early years, including the untimely passing of Arthur’s mother during his childhood and Myles’ family’s many wrestlings with poverty. In 2014, Myles moved to Stroudsburg, where he linked up with Arthur and the two instantly hit it off as collaborators, driven by the intention of representing the cultural diversity within Stroudsburg and creating feel-good tracks to help bridge the divide between an increasingly antagonistic world.


The moniker Nine.wav was crafted to convey the purpose of the duo. In the name “.wav” it represents sound waves, the "Nine" is the sum of the last three digits of Stroudsburg’s zip code (18360).
